The Lambourne Club is set in 180 acres of breathtaking parkland with magnificent old oak and beech trees and 6 picturesque lakes. It is one of the most prestigious private clubs in the region. The clubhouse was completely refurbished in March 2010 and is a unique combination of understated elegance and traditional colonial style comfort, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. The clubhouse facilities are open throughout the day with a full menu available to suit all tastes along with a half-way house serving hot food and drinks to golfers mid-round. The changing rooms, located on the first floor, also have a steam room for the men and a sauna for the ladies.

The golf course is of championship length and standard and you will enjoy hitting to generous fairways and attacking well-protected greens. We are constantly looking to provide members with excellent playing surfaces and conditions. Due to the course being built on subsoil consisting of chalk and gravel we are rarely closed or on temporary greens and winter playing conditions are simply the best in the region. There is a fully automated irrigation system on all greens, tees and fairways.

Members at The Lambourne Club enjoy organised golf competitions to suit all levels of golfer and there is a strong "roll-up" culture providing new members with a unique opportunity to integrate in to the club within a short time of joining the club. The varied social calendar of events also adds to the extremely friendly and welcoming club atmosphere. Lambourne has an equal opportunities policy so women golfers enjoy exactly the same membership benefits as men.
The restaurant and clubhouse facilities can also be booked for private parties with menus ranging from finger buffets to full a la carte options. There are 2 meeting rooms available for hire and we are always delighted to discuss use of the club's facilities for member's personal and business activities and events.
