The Lambourne Club is situated in Burnham, Buckinghamshire close to the M4, M40 & M25 and just 25 miles from central London, it is one of the region's most prestigious private golf clubs.

First opened in 1991 based upon designs by Donald Steel, one of the leading golf course architects of the latter half of the twentieth century. The 18-hole championship course is a healthy 6798 yards from the blue tees with generous fairways and well protected greens, 6 par 4s over 400 yards and six lakes it is a true test of golf. Although don’t be deterred by its length as The Lambourne Club has 4 sets of tees enable golfers of all abilities to enjoy our great course.

Set in mature parkland surrounded by oak and beech trees unspoilt by houses and roads you feel like you are in a nature reserve with deer running freely throughout the property it is the perfect retreat for a quiet game of golf. Visit in spring when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in bloom, which gives the course a feel of Augusta.

Unlike other courses in the area The Lambourne Club is based on a combination of chalk and gravel, which allows the course to free drain keeping it dry under foot in the winter. This enables us to never ban trolleys or use temporary tees or greens. In the summer months a full course irrigation system maintains lush fairways and approaches making The Lambourne Club perfect for all year-round golf.

After golf relax in our colonial style well appointed clubhouse with extensive menu and well stocked bar or in summer retire to our patio area and watch fellow golfers return whilst watching the sun slowly disappear.
